As a native of Regensburg, I thought no city could hold a candle to it - until I arrived in Passau over 10 years ago and fell in love with our beautiful city on the three rivers in all aspects of my life.

I am happy to share my enthusiasm for my (adopted) home with you and to pass on the magic of our baroque old town. And if you want something special, then you've come to the right place - we'll put together the perfect program for you.

When I moved to Bavaria with my parents more than 20 years ago, our very first stop was Passau.

Since then, this beautiful Three Rivers City has completely captivated me. That’s why I’m all the more thrilled to now share my love for this city with people from all over the world – and to have turned my passion for travel and tourism into a career.

For more than a decade now, I’ve had the pleasure of calling Passau my home – and I’ve come to truly love this beautiful Three Rivers City. Every day, as I cross the Marienbrücke, I’m once again amazed by the stunning view of the Old Town and its magnificent baroque cathedral.

Even without a Bavarian accent, I’d love to take you on a tour through the city’s most charming corners – in German or English – and share all kinds of fascinating facts about my adopted hometown.

As a trained opera singer, I moved from South Africa to Germany over 20 years ago. The stage has always been – and still is – a central part of my life, even after my time in the theatre. English is one of my native languages, and with this background, I was looking for a new challenge – which I found in guiding tours, especially for international guests.

My approach? Not just walking “Wikipedia,” but engaging entertainment combined with historical facts, fascinating stories, and lasting impressions. I live this profession every single day with the goal of introducing visitors from all over the world to the beauty and rich history of the border region where Bavaria, Austria, and the Czech Republic meet – in a memorable and meaningful way.

Nicki

Born and raised in Deggendorf, I’m a true Lower Bavarian – and I’ve known Passau since childhood. So when it came time to choose a place to study, the decision was easy: off to Passau!

More than 16 years later, I still haven’t had enough of this charming Three Rivers City. As a trained graphic designer, I’m inspired by the unique energy that different places give off – and Passau has a very special flair of its own.

Since I’m not one to stay at a desk for long (thanks to my dog, the mountains, or a fresh cappuccino from my favorite barista), I love the opportunity to channel my creativity in a more active and communicative way – as a guide. I’m excited to share my version of Passau with you!

I was born and raised in Passau, but during my studies in Vienna and Regensburg, I had the chance to get to know other cities as well. Still, my love for Passau quickly brought me back home.

As a tour guide, I’m always amazed by how much there is to discover in this city – even for me! What I enjoy most is meeting people from all walks of life and sharing my passion for the beauty and history of Passau with them.
